Connected Logistics sought out Agility Development Group to support their capture efforts based on our client intimacy, market intelligence, and willingness to roll up our sleeves and dive into the capture and proposal process. Before Agility was involved, most of Connected Logistics’ work was as a subcontractor. As the business grew and expanded, so did the number of opportunities they primed. Connected Logistics contracted with Agility Development Group to assist in its pursuit of the U.S. Army Program Management Support Services 3 (PMSS3) contract. Agility assisted with proposal outline development, color team review and recovery, sample task solution development, and provided subject matter expertise on the work of the Army’s PEO Enterprise Information Systems. Each facet employs different technology and implementation procedures, ensuring each client receives specialized services and productsSupport & Help Provided by Agility:
AVT Simulation engaged Agility Development Group on short notice to help lead the transition of a $50M, single award contract awarded to AVT by the US Army PEO STRI. This transition was very sensitive and demanding since the company currently on contract lost the re-compete and the Government made it clear it would not accept disruptions in the program at any level during the 30-day transition period. Agility provided on-site leadership to bring together the team to accomplish transition activities within an aggressive schedule, built relationships with all stakeholders, and represented AVT in several meetings with the Government to include the Contract Kick-off meeting. In addition, Agility reviewed resumes, conducted interviews and made recommendations for whom to hire to lead the program. Through our in-depth understanding of the Army, PEO STRI and defense contracting, Agility kept an open line of communication with the AVT PM after the program transition to assist the PM with ‘getting his feet on the ground’ with the new customer and thus ensure the ultimate long-term success of the program.Outcomes:
AVT Simulation exceeded the Government’s expectations by successfully completing the transition without a break in service, by working well with the incumbent contractor and other stakeholders, and by instilling confidence through the timely and thorough execution of all required tasks. The PM hired by AVT as a result of the recommendation of Agility has been in the position over 18 months and is a value added asset to both AVT and the Government.
